The Dingle Peninsula _____________________ In our view the Dingle Peninsula is the most scenic drive in Ireland if not Europe. To see the Dingle Peninsula properly you need a full day, leaving your Killarney Hotel early to mid morning and returning in the evening arouns 5 / 6pm. Commenole Beach Leaving Killarney go to Miltown, Castlemain and on to Inch Beach (do not drive your car on this Beach !!). Next drive to Dingle Town and continue on via Ventry to Slea Head. Here you can get out of your Car and relax, take a walk on Commenole Beach and look out at this Magnificent Scenery. This area is in the top 10 of "most scenic areas in the World" according to National Geographic so enjoy and hopefully the sun will shine on you when you are there. Dunquin Pier, Dingle Next head on 1 mile to Dunquin Pier, here you can see the old Currach Boats made from oil and canvas and still used by local fishermen. You can also get e boat here to Great Blasket Island. Wild Flowers at Dingle Its now time to make your way back to Dingle Town. Conor Pass is next, this magnificent windy drive in the mountains and spectacular view at the top (if cloud free). On into Tralee and back to Killarney.
